Known for: concentrated studio portrait photography of world leaders

Platon Antoniou has built a practice around the concentrated portrait session, working in a spare studio setting and giving subjects very little time. He photographed every living U.S. president and produced a portrait series for The New Yorker that included world leaders. His work for Human Rights Watch has included portraits of survivors from conflict zones around the world.
